What is included in the price?We do all the work! We will deliver, set up and style. The next day we will pick up, launder all linens in a hygiene wash, steam clean each teepee cover and cushions, and disinfect the remaining items. Please refer to our themes to see what is included in each standard package.
Is there a travel fee?Delivery, set up and pick up is included as part of the price on Phillip Island and San Remo. Anywhere outside these areas around the Bass Coast will have an additional travel fee. Please contact us for details. We reserve the right to decline due to distance.
What is your booking and cancellation policy?A non refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking which will guarantee your preferred date and theme. The remaining balance must be paid 48hrs PRIOR to your party. Failure to pay 48 hours prior will result in cancellation of your party. Your party is not booked until your deposit has been paid. You may add additional tents if they are available but they cannot be subtracted after the initial booking. Island Dreams does not refund any cancellations, events must be rescheduled. If you need to reschedule, we will gladly offer you the next available date.
What are the penalty charges?Island Dreams require a $50 security bond which is also payable 48hrs prior to the party, and will be refunded within 24 hours of pickup. In the event an item is damaged, stained or requiring replacement (including wetting of the mattress), Island Dreams reserves the right to utilise the deposit to replace/rectify any damages caused. Please take every care to prevent children from eating and drinking items that could stain linen and tents incase of accidental spillages. This also includes keeping away items such as nail polish and slime. The breakfast trays provided are to be utilised for snacks and a place to keep their water bottle.
What ages does Island Dreams cater for?Our teepees best suit children ages 5-14 years, and we ask as a minimum that all guests be 5 and over.
How long is the hire period of the tent package?Our standard package is for one night rental.
How long will it take to set up and take down?Please allow 1.5 – 2 hours for set-up and approximately 1 hour for pack up.
Do my guests need to bring a pillow?Yes, we do not provide pillows to sleep on due to hygiene reasons.
How much space is required?Each set up is approximately 100cm wide & 220cm long (including mattress & breakfast table). It is the client’s responsibility to leave enough space for a walkway and safe sleep. Island Dreams requires that the designated tent area be clean and cleared of furniture. We will not move furniture to make room for your event. Should you have any concerns about space for the set up please contact Island Dreams with measurements and/or photos and we can help you work out layout and quantity.
Can the tents be set up outside?Our tents are indoor only tents.
Will you need access to power?Only our Unicorn Utopia tent lights require power. However all of our other decor uses batteries.
